ADT names new CMO
BOCA RATON, Fla.—The ADT Corp. announced today that Jerri DeVard has joined the company as senior vice president, chief marketing officer. DeVard, who most recently served as EVP, CMO of Nokia, starts her new job on March 31 and will report directly to Naren Gursahaney, ADT’s president and CEO, the company said.
In her new role, DeVard will lead ADT’s marketing efforts across the residential, small business, and health business units. According to the company, she will oversee all strategic, operational and financial aspects of the company’s integrated marketing programs, including brand advertising, digital marketing, communications, lead generation, sponsorships, and other initiatives.
DeVard succeeds Tony Wells, who is leaving the organization after two years of service as ADT’s chief marketing officer, the company said. Wells will stay with ADT for several months to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
