ESX announces IceBreaker Luncheon featured speaker
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—The Electronic Security Expo (ESX) has announced that Louisiana State Fire Marshal and president-elect for the National Association of State Fire Marshals, H. “Butch” Browning, Jr., will be the featured speaker for the Industry IceBreaker Luncheon on June 24.
The luncheon, slated to begin at noon at the Music City Center here, celebrates the security industry’s connection with public safety, and includes presentations for the Electronic Security Association Youth Scholarship Program; the Security Industry Alarm Coalition William N. Moody Awards; the Police Dispatch Quality Awards; and the Central Station Alarm Association Five Diamond Marketing Marvel designation.
“We’re thrilled to have Fire Marshal Browning presenting,” said George De Marco, ESX chairman, in a prepared statement. “His experience in public safety, coupled with his leadership character, his dedication to enhancing life safety standards, and his focus on growing the relationship with the electronic security industry, will ensure for a thought-provoking and enlightening presentation.”
Browning is certified in many fire administration, fire suppression, fire prevention, and fire education levels at the National Fire Academy and Oklahoma State University.
“I’m looking forward to sharing my public safety experiences and vision for the future of fire safety with the audience at ESX,” Browning said, in a prepared statement. “Both the fire services and the industry share common public safety values and goals, and it’s crucial that we continue to develop and grow the relationship.”
ESX this year will run from June 23-26.
