Notifier launches new Web platform that aids distributors

NORTHFORD, Conn.—Notifier by Honeywell, a manufacturer of fire alarm systems, has launched a new website offering easier access to product information, as well as solutions-based information regularly sought by facility managers and first responders, according to a company statement.

Notifier.com includes a streamlined interface that allows all site content to be easily searched and sorted, allowing fast access to pertinent data with fewer page views. The new site’s organization is a product of nearly six months of surveying users of the existing Notifier website, from fire protection engineers and end users to Notifier’s staff.

Another function of the new site, and one that was in high demand, is the ability to connect with a local Notifier distributor through a one-step form, according to the statement.

“Simplicity is the key here,” said Jack Riffelmacher, web communications leader at Honeywell Fire Systems, in the statement. “Using a sharepoint platform, we’ve opened ownership of this site’s content to allow the right people to update the documentation and information they regularly manage, almost instantaneously.”
