Reorg at IdentiSys
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.—IdentiSys, an integrator specializing in identification, card issuance, emergency response, and access control security systems, in early March announced several organizational changes.
Michael Shields has been promoted to the position of EVP, sales. In addition to continuing with his current role in running the ID Connection business, Shields will now have all of the IdentiSys sales organization under his responsibility, including direct sales, sales support and inside sales. He will continue to report to Deb Ferril, president of IdentiSys.
Joe Wright will continue as SVP, sales and report to Shields. Three directors of sales that are responsible for an additional 25 sales representatives, plus Identisys’ ID Connection sales representatives, will also report to Shields.
“Due to our significant growth, especially over the past couple of years through sales and acquisitions, we felt there was a strong need to reorganize and promote key individuals in the organization,” said Ferril, in a prepared statement.
Founded in 1999, IdentiSys’ divisions include Gebco Hawaii and ID Connection, serving the reseller marketplace.
