Vivint wins recognition for tech service

PROVO, Utah—Vivint recently received a Mobile Star Award, winning the best asset tracking and field service category, according to a company statement.

The 11th Annual Mobile Star Awards, hosted by MobileVillage.com, a mobile technology news and events site, showcased entrants in dozens of “best of” categories. Vivint’s award was based on its Mobile Tech Management app, which gives its field technicians the ability to manage and optimize schedules through their smartphones. When a customer reports a problem, a Vivint technician is immediately notified based on the customer’s location and scheduling availability, according to the statement. The app allows Vivint to respond to customers quickly and efficiently

“It’s an honor to be recognized for Vivint’s commitment to excellence in all areas of our business, including field service,” said Josh Houser, Vivint vice president of inside sales and services, in the statement.
