ADT targets new vertical market Brief

BOCA RATON, Fla.--One of the largest residential and commercial security companies, ADT Security Services, is investing in a new vertical market--security installations at schools.
Patrick Fiel, who served as executive director of school security in Washington, D.C. , for six years, is working for ADT as public safety adviser specializing in the education market.
Fiel said ADT has done a number of school installations in the past and many recently. His goal is to reach out to local school districts across the country.
