Alarm One, spanked again Brief

FRESNO, Calif.-- Alarm One, which along with three co-defendants was slapped with a $1.7 million judgment in April (see story in June issue of Security Systems News) for sexual harassment and humiliation suffered by Janet Orlando, 53, a former alarm saleswoman who was spanked at camaraderie-building sales meetings, has been swatted again.
According to a report by KFSN-TV, Alarm One asked a judge to overturn the ruling and the judge decided to add more money to the judgment. "There is no word on how much more she will be getting," the report said. Patrick Smith, president of Alarm One, did not return calls by press time.
