BELLEVUE, Wash. - Residential systems integrator Home Technologies added another company to its dealer base in the beginning of February by entering into a joint agreement with PremiStar, a residential systems dealer in Bend, Ore. Through the agreement, PremiStar, which will change its name to Home Technologies-Bend, provides Home Technologies with an opportunity to expand its business into central Oregon. The company’s affiliation with Home Technologies provides it with the infrastructure necessary to focus on expanding its business. The company currently records sales of less than $1 million per year. Lauraan Corp. lines up group of new agreements GRAPEVINE, Texas - Lauraan Corp., a provider of home entertainment and automation products for the residential construction market, announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Syslync of Georgia, completed an agreement with security provider Certicom to service the company’s residential accounts in the Atlanta area. Syslync of Georgia will also provide home technology products to Certicom as part of the agreement. In addition to the Certicom deal, Syslync was selected as the preferred provider of home technology products and services for Atlanta-based Lou Freeman Properties, a developer of custom homes. Moore Security gets more revenue in the new year REDONDO BEACH, Calif. - Safeguard Technology, operating through its Moore Protection unit, a high-end residential security installer here, posted record monthly revenues in January. Company officials said Moore Protection has experienced steady revenue growth throughout 2004 - with the exception of a slight dip in business in the end of the year - and said the positive January revenue counts is indicative of continued growth into 2005. No specific revenue numbers were made available.
