ASG buys bolt-on in Louisiana

BELTSVILLE, Md.—Super-regional ASG Security is “having a strong sales year so far in Louisiana” and it's also building density through acquisitions in this region, ASG CFO Ralph Masino told Security Systems News.
ASG has acquired the assets of Hartman Electronics, based in Metairie, La., the Davis Marketing and Acquisition Group announced on Sept. 12.
“This is the third follow-on since we entered Louisiana in November of 2012,” Masino said.
“Four folks will joint ASG including former owner Mike Hartman, who is NICET Level 4 certified,” Masino said. “We're excited to have Mike and his team onboard.”
He said Hartman Electronics was located “right next to our existing office” and the accounts will be serviced by ASG's existing New Orleans operations.
ASG Security recently also acquired accounts in Wichita Falls, Texas. The expanding company also closed four purchases in the second quarter of this year. In April, ASG increased its credit facility to $270 million.
Davis Group's Steve Rubin represented the seller.
