ATC International secures Miami water Brief

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--ATC International announced in late 2005 a $4 million installation contract with Miami Dade Water Utilities Facilities in Miami Dade County, Fla. The system will provide access control and asset tracking with RFID technology for Miami Dade's five water treatment plants, plus well fields and pump stations. All who enter the Miami Dade facilities will wear RFID cards to track the person's movements. Phil Gravino, director of government systems at ATC, called the system, developed with Integral Technologies, "a previously impossible level of security."
