Webcam signs deal to distribute IPIX line OAK RIDGE, Tenn. - IPIX Security has expanded its sales channel by signing a reseller agreement with Webcam Technology Distributors, a supplier of security and video surveillance products that operates under the name Webcam.biz. For Webcam, the reseller agreement expands the types of products it sells to systems integrators and dealers. IPIX is known in the security industry for its wide field-of-view cameras that offer 360 degrees of viewing area. Users of cameras from IPIX can navigate the unit within a live or recorded video scene in all directions using pan, tilt and zoom features but with no moving parts. Napco aligns with company to serve Middle East Region AMITYVILLE, N.Y. - Napco Security Systems has partnered with another company to start up a sales and marketing facility to serve the Middle East security market. The manufacturer of alarm control panels, access control systems, sensor and other products joined up with Gulf Associates to create Napco Gulf Security Group, headquartered in the Dubai Airport Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. The company will sell Napco’s complete line of security products and offer non-competitive and complementary international security products in the region. Richard Soloway, chairman and chief executive officer of Napco, said the company sees a growth opportunity in the Middle East, especially with the heightened security needs of the region. Diebold becomes Bosch re-seller NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Security systems integrator Diebold is now offering a full line of CCTV products from Bosch Security Systems, an addition that company officials says enables the company to expand its product offering to customers. Diebold will offer Bosch’s alarm and CCTV products for the government market through Diebold’s GSA schedule.
