OnQ and Monster Cable expand alliance HARRISBURG, Pa. - Home networking and structured wiring supplier OnQ announced it is furthering its relationship with Monster Cable in an alliance that will mean expanded marketing opportunities for the two companies. The partnership includes the availability of Monster Central with OnQ inside, a structured wiring system consisting of Monster cable-branded enclosures with OnQ modules. The alliance will include joint marketing, sales and training between OnQ and Monster of residential home networking system packages. Home Director sees lower revenues, higher margins LIVERMORE, Calif. - Home networking solutions provider Home Director reported decreased revenues in the second quarter, ending June 30, but also saw higher gross margins and lower operating expenses. Revenues of $2.5 million were a decrease of 12 percent over the figure the company reported in the same quarter of 2002. Gross margins improved to 44 percent in the second quarter of 2003 as compared to 31 percent for 2002. Operating expenses, excluding certain one-time items, decreased 32 percent to $1.5 million. ADT sponsors college football NEW YORK - ADT Security is banking on high visibility during its new three-year sponsorship of college football, in a deal signed with ESPN ABC Sports Sales Customer Marketing and Sales and the American Football Coaches Association in late August. ADT will be the title sponsor of the official trophy, now called the “ADT National Championship Trophy,” awarded each year to the winning team of the Bowl Championship Series National Championship Games following the 2003, 2004 and 2005 college football seasons.
