Diebold partners with Silent Witness CANTON, Ohio -Systems integrator Diebold has added Silent Witness’ cameras and video storage solutions to its line-up, one of several manufacturers that Diebold has partnered with over the years. “Diebold forms strategic alliances with suppliers who can satisfy the needs of our specialized customers with the highest quality of products,” said Richard Baggot, vice president, Electronic Security and Currency Systems Group at Diebold. “Silent Witness is a company that can meet those demands. We look forward to adding their premium products to our offering.” Trans-Alarm wins GE Interlogix contest, honored by Group 4 BURNSVILLE, Minn. -Trans-Alarm took home the top prize in the 2002 GE Interlogix Dealer Sales Contest, a seven-day trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for the 17th annual National Dealer Sales Meeting. The company also won Group 4’s top national systems integrator award and best sales and technical expertise award for the central U.S. region. Trans-Alarm won the GE Interlogix trip as part of a sales contest sponsored by GE Interlogix. Trans-Alarm finished among the top five percent of a field of over 3,000 other security companies from North America. Nice’s DVR to be installed at Ottawa airport RA’ANANA, Israel -Nice Systems, based here, recently announced that the NiceVision Pro digital video and audio recording solution is set to be installed in early 2003 at Ottawa International Airport as part of the airport authority’s ongoing construction of a new airport terminal. Johnson Controls and Girit Canada Inc. are overseeing the airport security system project. Upon completion, the CCTV system will use the airport network backbone and be controlled by Girit’s Virtual Matrix software.
