Brink's opens new Calif. office in Inland Empire

IRVING, Texas--To find affordable housing outside of Los Angeles, people are moving farther east into the Inland Empire. To answer the subsequent demand for security services, Brink's Home Security has opened a second Inland Empire office in Riverside. The national security company already has an office in Ontario, Calif. The Riverside office will help serve the growing number of customers in this area where "there is lots of new construction, particularly housing," said David Simon, spokesman for Brink's Home Security. Brink's expects to hire 20 new employees over the next 12 months. Both offices will staff sales representatives, alarm technicians and administrative personnel. In addition, Brink's Business Security, the recently announced new division of the company, will also have a presence in the area. One national representative will work out of the Ontario branch, Simon said: "These are national accounts and we're focused in the Southern California market as well as other places in the country." Bob Raymond, California regional director for Brink's, noted that the offices will give the company greater coverage and also said that Brink's is pleased to create new jobs in the area. The Riverside office is led by general manager Dave Rohde, who has been with Brink's for 11 years. Keith Bolechowski, a 15-year employee of Brink's, is the general manager of the Ontario office.
