EPS gets second call Brief

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--In an effort to reduce the number of false alarms, Engineered Protection Systems, a full service security company, implemented enhanced call verification for customers in late 2005. The service enables call lists to include additional contacts, or key-holders to be notified of a signal before law enforcement is contacted, thanks to central station software DICE Aegis version 8.3, release 1.27. Already, false alarm calls to police have decreased 24 percent from the same period last year. Amy Jo Feliciano, central station operations manger, said customers who have been billed from various police agencies are pleased with the change.
