Garda buys ATI Systems, cash handlers Brief

PASADENA, Calif. - Garda World Security Corporation of Montreal, Canada announced on May 24 the acquisition of ATI Systems International for a reported $341 million. ATI International is the third-largest cash handling services provider in the U.S. and generated more than $500 million in revenue over the past year. The acquisition will make Garda World the fifth largest integrated physical security and cash-handling services provider in the world. Garda World's U.S. headquarters will be relocated to Pasadena, Calif.
