Genetec adds new COO

MONTREAL—Genetec, a provider of physical and IP security solutions on Nov. 9 announced Bill Nash has joined Genetec in the role of Chief Operating Officer. Nash will augment Genetec's existing executive team with his experience in successfully mentoring fast-growing high tech companies and will help formulate policies and procedures needed to proactively manage future growth.
Prior to joining Genetec, Nash was COO of Eicon Technology Corporation where he was instrumental in growing the company from 4 to 750 employees with revenues of $175M. He subsequently worked for several technology companies and served on the Board of Directors for the Société d'assurance automobile du Québec, Quebec's government-operated automobile insurance agency.
