INGRID launches home security system Brief

BERWYN, Pa.- InGrid, a newcomer to the market, introduced in January digital home protection products available for distribution through broadband providers. CEO Louis Stilp, attended the February Barnes Buchanan conference in Palm Beach, Fla. InGrid uses wireless technologies to create an invisible grid of security throughout a home. The network includes a portable handset and broadband-enabled base station that communicates with wireless self-adhering window and door sensors that immediately report any change in activity the customer chooses to monitor. Broadband integration keeps the system always on and connected to its monitoring service, and plugs into telephone jacks for back-up if broadband service is interrupted.
