WOODBURY, N.Y.-Intelli-Check, a developer of advanced document verification systems, announced in April that it has retained KPMG Corporate Finance to advise it on strategic alternatives, including possible mergers and acquisitions.
The move comes as the company looks to expand its presence in the market, specifically with its patented technology that validates the authenticity of driver licenses and other forms of identification.
Frank Mandelbaum, chairman and chief executive officer of Intelli-Check, said KPMG is exploring the company's options at a time when there are growing opportunities for the company's patented ID-CHECK technology for validating the authenticity of driver licenses and other forms of ID cards.
