IR inks deal with GovSupply

September 4, 2003 WASHINGTON - Ingersoll-Rand has aligned with GovSupply to supply the federal government with its access control products through GovSupply’s GSA contract. The deal makes available products from Ingersoll-Rand’s Sclage, Von Duprin, Dor-O-Matic, Recognition Systems, Steelcraft, Locknetics and Kryptonite product line to federal agencies who work off a GSA Schedule. It will also enable its network of dealers, including Electronic Technologies Corp., as systems integrator Ingersoll-Rand bought last year, to provide consultation, design, specification and installation work. “This alliance means that federal agencies anywhere in the U.S.A. can harness the expertise of IR Security & Safety’s extensive network of dealers and distributors,” said Mark Oakes, president and chief executive officer of GovSupply.
