ISC East and ASIS offer variety of training programs

NEW YORK - A new program will be vying for attendees’ attention at ISC East 2004 - the ISC East Manufacturer Training Program. The program, new to the conference and tradeshow this year, allows dealers and integrators the opportunity to learn about certain manufacturers’ products and services. Dealers can attend a one-hour training session free of charge. Sessions are taught by experts and include hands-on demonstrations. Companies taking part as of press time include Honeywell Security, GVI/Samsung, FireLite, Linear Corp., DSC and HAI. Experts from the companies will conduct one-hour sessions. Training will take place on both days of the show - held Nov. 3 and 4 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center - and some sessions will offer continuing education credits for participants. ASIS will also offer a number of educational programs and seminars for attendees that are planned throughout the three day conference. New trends in security and compliance risk assessment is offerd on Monday, Sept. 27 and strategic marketing of security will be the tipic of discussion at a Tuesday, Sept. 28 session. But these two seminars are part of more than 130 offerings.
