NBFAA brings conference to Washington

SILVER SPRING, Md. - The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association will hold its annual convention in conjunction with the National Summit on Security from Sept. 28 through Oct. 3 in Washington at the Loew’s L’Enfant Plaza Hotel. The event will feature a number of committee meetings and educational sessions, including a meeting of the NBFAA board of directors. NBFAA President Cecil Hogan will host a reception and awards ceremony, and the National Training School will conduct a “Train the Trainer” session. According to Merlin Guil-beau, NBFAA executive director, Washington provides an excellent backdrop for security-based conferences. “Our nation’s capital is the perfect location for the top electronic life safety, security, and systems professionals to meet this fall,” Guilbeau said. “Washington, D.C., is without a doubt the standard-bearer of security consciousness for the United States.” For information on the conference, visit www.alarm.org.
