NBFAA supports security tax credit

IRVING, Texas--The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association recently endorsed federal legislation to provide a tax credit to agricultural facilities that store and manufacture pesticide for implementing security measures. Under the proposal, eligible agricultural businesses would receive a tax credit that equals 30 percent of the cost to implement security measures, up to $100,000 per facility. The tax credit would cover security training, limiting access to chemicals and protecting perimeters.
