Orlando files new claim Brief

ANAHEIM, Calif.--Janet Orlando, a former Alarm One employee who was spanked in front of other employees and was awarded $1.2 million in punitive damages and $500,000 in other damages, is suing the Alarm One's insurance company again, according to the North Country Gazette.
Orlando she says she hasn't been paid after the company agreed to settle her claim for $1.4 million. She filed a new claim last month against the Carolina Casualty Insurance Company and Monitor Liability Managers for $4.2 million.
Patrick Smith, chief operating officer at Alarm One, said "at this point Alarm One has no comment to make."
