Protection Bureau nominated for Penn. Gov.'s award Brief

EXTON, Pa.--Governor Ed Rendell and Stephen Schmerin, Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry, have nominated the Protection Bureau, a commercial integrator based here, for a Governor's Award for Safety Excellence. The nomination stems from the creation of a director of safety, Sandra Wolf, along with a safety committee and a company safety plan. Results include site-specific safety plans used for individual job sites, a discount to the company for workman's compensation insurance, and new Weight Watchers and smoking cessation groups.
