Sonitrol central aids in arrest STOCKTON, Calif. - Son-itrol’s central station here has been credited with apprehending a burglar who broke into a telecom business last month. At 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 1, the central station received an audio activation that was followed by audible crashing and entry sounds at Diablo Telecom. The dispatcher, Jerome Zertuche, contacted the San Joaquin County Sher-iff’s Department, which responded at 4:36 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies found that someone had entered the building by breaking a rear window at the business. They searched the surrounding area and found a man hiding in a large trash receptacle. He had two backpacks full of burglary tools, as well as miscellaneous items that had been taken from the business. The man was taken into custody on charges of felony burglary and felony possession of burglary tools.
