RJA adds Sako to its N.Y. location

NEW YORK - Fire firm RJA Group has moved to larger offices here, providing the company with room to incorporate its security division Sako & Associates under the same roof.
Patrick Johnson, spokesman for RJA Group, said it marks Sako & Associates entrance into the New York market. The move into New York came less than a year after RJA Group bought Sako.
"It was a good opportunity to move to updated space," said Johnson, about the company's new Manhattan office three blocks from the company's previous location. "We were very centrally located and we were looking to stay in that vicinity."
With the two companies sharing offices, Johnson expects each will be able to tap into respective synergies with clients and refer jobs to one another.
