ScanSource adds biometrics Brief

GREENVILLE, S.C.-- ScanSource Security Distribution has added new options for identity solutions to end users by including Integrated Biometrics products as of mid November.
The company specializes in access privileges based on finger-based biometric systems. ScanSource reported in a press release that it was attracted to Integrated's ability to accurately identify users, even those with slick or nicotine-coated fingers, thanks to its patented light emitting sensing technology, and that its products do not require other identification tokens such as smart cards or keypads.
