Security firm continues to grow Brief

MONTREAL--Garda World Security Corp. purchased Alberta-based Signature Group in May for nearly $1.1 million in a cash and shares deal.
The Montreal-based company reported that Signature, with headquarters in Edmonton and a regional office in Calgary, has annual revenues of more than $4.5 million.
The price includes $530,000 in cash and issuance of more than 40,000 shares. Also part of the deal is a vendor take-back of $200,000, repayable over a two-year period.
