RONKONKOMA, N.Y.--Sentry Technology, a manufacturer of radio frequency, electromagnetic EAS systems, and surveillance products, teamed up with Civitas Group, a global homeland and national security investment firm, to develop and market solutions to the homeland security market in October.
Civitas will help the company make a larger footprint in the Homeland Security market. The partnership plans to raise awareness of the company's solution, such as the SentryVision SmartTrack cameras that travel along a ceiling or wall mounted rail for the homeland security market, specifically the public transportation market.
Last year the company scooped up ID Security Systems Canada and ID Systems USA for $3.5 million. In April, Sentry Technology re-branded three of its business units, including the acquired companies to better reflect its corporate identity.
