Who are today's women leaders in security? Security Systems News editors look for input on annual special report on women leaders in the security industry

YARMOUTH, Maine—The November issue of Security Systems News will include the annual special report entitled “Women in Security.”

The editors will write six profiles of women leaders in the security industry—one from each sector of the industry that we cover, and the profiles will appear throughout our print publication. They will also appear online.

The sectors are: Systems Integrators and Commercial; Fire Installation; Monitoring; Residential Security; and Suppliers (that's what we call manufacturers). The sixth section of our publication is General News, and for this section we'll be looking to profile a woman who works in the industry (as a consultant, M&A specialist, or legislative affairs liaison, for example), but doesn't fall into the other categories.

We'll be writing these profiles soon. If you know someone you think fits the bill, send us an email at [email protected], or call 207-846-0600, ext. 261.
