DULUTH,Ga. - Women In Security Electronics, a non-profit professional networking organization has formed to provide professional development, mentoring and networking for women of the security market.
Male membership is encouraged because the women who began the organization believe, men were mentors and supporters throughout their careers.
Its programs this year include, project soundboard for male members who are looking for coaching and feedback on working more effectively with female co-workers, mentorship opportunities and project scoreboard, which will track the organizations successes to the impact and progress of women in the industry.
Annual membership is $75 for an individual, unless the indvidual's company is a corporate sponsor.
WISE will host a networking event on April 5, during the ISC West show in Las Vegas.
