YARMOUTH, Maine—Respondents to Security Systems News’ latest poll on the 2G sunset show highly varied experiences: half said that areas lost 2G service before expected, 65 percent still have accounts to change over, and 25 percent said they can relax—there’s plenty of time before the sunset.

DAVENPORT, Iowa—Per Mar Security Services, a super-regional based here, has acquired Northern Wisconsin Security & Sound, of Arbor Vitae, Wis., a company with particular expertise in the new home construction market, according to Per Mar president Brian Duffy.
Brian Ciasnocha, Per Mar Security Service’s director of sales-electronic security, has been in the industry for 16 years. He started with ADT in 1999 and joined Per Mar in October 2014. In early March, Ciasnocha talked with Security Systems News about the system he uses at home.
Brad Duffy has been promoted from treasurer to third VP on the executive committee of the National Council of Investigative and Security Services. The NCISS committee’s main function is to monitor legislative and regulatory activities, investigations in the security industry and develop and encourage high standards of conduct. Duffy is president of the security division at Per Mar Security Services, based in Des Moines, Iowa. Per Mar installs and services security systems throughout the Midwest out of 23 branches. Security Systems News caught up with Brad to ask him five questions.
