HOLLYWOOD, Fla.—Golden Gate Capital, the owner of Devcon Security—a super-regional based here that has been rapidly expanding as a national player in the past year—has named Richard Ginsburg as Devcon’s new CEO.
OREM, Utah and BOCA RATON, Fla.—They’ve had the same private equity owner—Golden Gate Capital—since 2009, but traditional model company Devcon Security and summer-sales model company Pinnacle Security have always maintained separate operations, until now.
SACRAMENTO, Calif.—Devcon Security, one of the largest and fastest growing home security monitoring and business alarm companies in the U.S., has named Michael Murray general manager of the company’s Sacramento branch. Murray’s primary focus is hiring and training sales people and technicians who are committed to providing the best customer service in the Sacramento area. In addition, he will be responsible for building daily branch operations and acting as the brand ambassador working to build partnerships in the local community.
HOLLYWOOD, Fla.—Devcon Security on Aug. 2 announced it had hired new general managers at two of its Virginia locations. The company named Ray Blanchard as general manager in Richmond while Chad Lasky is the new general manager in Norfolk. Blanchard joined Devcon after working for eight years in management at the former Brink’s Home Security. He will focus on hiring and training sales people and technicians. Lasky will have those same duties in Norfolk. Before coming to Devcon, he worked for 12 years in management and sales at ADT Security Services. Devcon is the 13th largest home-security monitoring and business alarm company in the U.S., according to Virginia Business.
