SAN DIEGO—The Public Safety & Security Solutions division of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions will design, engineer, deploy and integrate surveillance, analytics, access control and other security system components in the new World Trade Center, the company announced Dec. 3.
Kratos announced this morning that Jack Turley has joined the company as VP of Strategic Development, responsible for all marketing, vertical market development, and strategic alliances for systems integration business. .
Most recently, Turley was the VP of Sales & Marketing for Gallagher Security, and before that, he was VP of Sales & Marketing for Aronson Security Group, the West Coast ASG.
In a prepared statement, Kratos PSS president Ben Goodwin said: "Jack has a strong background in marketing with many innovative programs for various facets of the security sector in his previous roles and will work to enhance the Kratos|HBE brand to support our key initiatives."
In other Kratos news, Kratos CTO Chris Peckham has joined the TechSec Advisory Board. We have a couple other new members of the board as well; we'll be making a formal announcement before the end of the month.
SAN DIEGO—Kratos Defense & Security, which last year beefed up its systems integration business with the acquisition of Henry Brothers, on Dec. 30 paid $20 million cash to buy the security integration business of “one of its most formidable competitors.”
PALM SPRINGS, Calif.—With the official close of the Kratos/Henry Brothers deal on Dec. 15, the integration of Henry Brothers is underway and Jim Henry, former owner of Henry Brothers, will attend the Kratos’ annual management off-site meeting which kicks off here today.
SAN DIEGO—Kratos Defense & Security Solutions announced Dec. 16 that it has completed its acquisition of Henry Bros. Electronics. Under the terms of the transaction, HBE stockholders will receive $8.20 in cash for each share of HBE common stock they own.
