CANASA objects to additional tariff
MARKHAM, Ontario - The Canadian Alarm and Security Association has filed comments with the Canadian Radio Television and Telecommunications Commission to object to Bell Canada’s proposed bridging charge of $10 per customer per month. The Canadian telecom is proposing the charge to the Schedule 3A Interexchange Multipoint Data Service, also called DVACS.

Quick Response expands with move

CLEVELAND - Regional monitoring provider Quick Response is set to go ahead in March with plans to relocate its headquarters and central station here to a new facility four times larger than its current digs.

The company’s move into the nearly 8,000 square foot building marks the end of a 30-year tenure in its current facility, said Jeff Cohen, general manager of Quick Response.

MINNEAPOLIS - A new wholesale monitoring company slated to open its doors in April will target independent dealers on a national basis with a promise to bring personal service to every monitored account.

Integrity Monitoring Services, founded by Mickey Fuller, also the company’s chief executive officer, has letters of intent from several “well-established dealers” to get operations up and running, Fuller said.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - Security Associates International in late January said it had applied to deregister the company’s common stock, eliminating the company’s requirement to file quarterly and other document with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
