Network Multifamily first to Five Diamonds

IRVING, Texas - Network Multi-family’s central station recently became the first to earn the “Five Diamond 100 percent Operator Certified Central Station” designation from the Central Station Alarm Association. The designation is given to those central stations who have 100 percent of their operators certified by the CSAA Central Station Operator Level 1 online course or in conjunction with the SIA/APCO “Train the Trainer” course.

DALLAS - Two well-known ratings firms released reports on Monitronics International’s debt last month. The results, however, were mixed, as Moody’s gave a “stable” rating, while S&P gave a “negative” rating to the company based on its $525 million in outstanding credit facilities.

The fire department, which for years provided free monitoring, is getting out of that business, and according to one industry insider, it’s about time.

Securitas takes timeshare nationwide

CHICAGO - Securitas Security Services has beefed up the ranks of its timeshare dispatch officers to deliver the service nationwide as a means of lightening the financial load on its customers.

The officers, most of whom have experience with police departments or in the military, are available in roughly all areas where Securitas has an office, said Craig Smith, Securitas president, Rocky Mountain region.
