TOPEKA, Kan. -Despite a high-profile shakeup in the leadership of Westar Energy, led by the indictment of the company’s chief and the resignation of an executive vice president, officials at Protection One said those changes at its corporate parent will have little effect on its own operations.

Eagle finalizes funding arrangements

LEAGUE CITY, Texas -A provider of bundled digital services and security and home automation systems has secured a three-phase funding agreement to provide approximately $50 million for its digital services plan.

Eagle Broadband, based here, expects to receive the funding over the next two to four years, with the initial funding from phase two to be received by the end of the year, company officials said.

IRVING, Texas - Brink's Home Security announced in early November it had hit 750,000 customers, reaching a major milestone in the company's growth and inching closer to its closest competitor despite never having made a major acquisition.
The company, which has 90 percent of its account base in the residential market, saw its installed base increase by more than 77,000 installations in the first three quarters of 2002, an increase of about 15.
