CHICAGO-Kastle Systems' office here has increased its sales force to further develop relationships with tenants, builders and architects, according to the company's Chicago branch general manager, Marilyn Brooks. The additions take the office's employee roster to 22, nearly tripling its staff in the last four years.

NEW YORK-Investigative security and intelligence consulting firm SafirRosetti expanded its expertise in mid-May, buying MVW Consultants, a Dallas based firm that provides the company with inroads in the physical security market.

SafirRosetti can now offer nearly all security solutions in-house, said Howard Safir, chairman and chief executive officer of the less than a year-old company.

LEWISVILLE, Texas-Two years after taking over the reigns as president and chief executive officer of Ultrak, Peter Beare has stepped down and a new person has been brought in to return the camera, access control and manufacturer of other products to profitability.

Rufus Bond Gunning has been named chief operating officer of the company, which in recent years has struggled with an undervalued stock price and bringing product to market in a timely fashion.
