ITG establishes a distribution center

HONG KONG-Assa Abloy's Identification Technology Group (ITG) has opened a Hong Kong-based distribution center that will serve HID's customers in the Asia Pacific region.
Company officials expect the new warehousing and card processing operation will reduce shipping times and increase convenience to HID's Asia Pacific customers. Customer care and technical support will be localized, with Mandarin, Cantonese and English spoken at the center.
"The Hong Kong distribution center will provide customer service and technical support to HID's Asia Pacific customers in a more convenient time zone and in a range of languages," said Lester Doig, managing director of the Hong Kong distribution center. "Other benefits include more flexible ordering and lower freight costs."
