Ackerman receives Medal of Valor at Honeywell Connect

ATLANTA—Ackerman Security Systems received the Medal of Valor Award at Honeywell's Connect 2013 annual meeting, the company announced Nov. 14. It was one of several the company received.
Ackerman also received the Life Safety Award, Community Service Award, Dealer of the Year 1st Place Award and Total Connect Camera Award, according to the release.
“With so many fine companies and leaders at Connect 2013, we were honored to be selected for this prestigious award recognizing our growth year over year, embracement of the Honeywell programs and philosophies and involvement in the industry to help move it forward,” said Jim Callahan, president of Ackerman, in a prepared statement.
