Acre appoints Sokka as new CEO, Skowronski as interim CEO

DALLAS — The Board of Directors of acre security announced that Kumar Sokka has been appointed new chief executive officer, effective June 15, 2025. Effective today, John Skowronski will act as interim CEO until June 15, 2025.
The company specified that until assuming the CEO role next year, Sokka’s responsibilities will be its Intrusion and ComNet solutions, in respect of his contractual obligations.
Sokka joins acre from LenelS2, where he served as president and general manager since December 2022. Prior to that, Kumar gained extensive experience from his time at Rockwell Automation, where he built and led the Digital Business unit (Software, HW, and Services). Throughout his 15 years at Rockwell, Sokka managed multiple global business and sales divisions and lived in various cities across North America and Asia.
Sokka began his career at Siemens, completing their Leadership Development Program. He holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and is currently residing in Austin, Texas.
