Activcard and Lenel partner for access solution

FREMONT, Calif. - ActivCard Corp, a developer of identity assurance products, announced a joint distribution agreement with security product provider Lenel Systems International in mid-February.
Through this agreement, the two companies will jointly market a solution for physical access to facilities and logical access to networks. According to a press release, the combined solution, which combines ActivCard’s Enterprise Active Card and Lenel’s OnGuard ID Credential Center, leads to increased security and lower operations costs.
The solution will also assist companies achieve compliance with regulations that require federal government employees and contractors to have identity badges for entry into designated areas.
