Altronics to donate systems to domestic violence victims

BETHLEHEM, Pa.— Pennsylvanian counties Lehigh, Northampton and Berks are working together with Altronics Security Systems to start the MVP—Maximum Victim Protection—program to providing security systems to victims of domestic violence.
Altronics, a residential security company based here, will donate the $300 to $500 systems and also waive the $40 monthly monitoring fee, said Bob Heimbecker, company general manager, according to a report in the in the Reading Eagle report.
The systems will include panic button fobs for family members as well, according to a Lehigh Valley Live report. The fobs will send signals directly to Altronics' central station.
"They're providing a very needed service to our most vulnerable victims," Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin told Lehigh Valley Live.
