ARLINGTON, Va.—AMAG's new office here will be a focal point for the Eastern region of the country and will be more convenient than the former office in Lorton, Va., said Matt Barnette, SVP sales and marketing.
AMAG held a grand opening of the facility in June, but the office has been open for a few months.
“We wanted to be central to customers in Washington. For those who come to the training space to get certified on AMAG products, it's close to a Metro stop, close to Dulles and National [airport] and there are hotels in close proximity,” Barnette said.
The new facility houses technical support for the Eastern region, and a training and demo center.
The demo center features the AMAG Symmetry product “with all the products and partner products fully integrated, access control, IP video and intrusion.” The system can be reconfigured for customers or prospective customers depending on the vertical market they represent, he added. “Customers can get their arms around the product and really see what the capabilities are,” Barnette said.
In addition to internal training, AMAG offers end user and consultant training at the facility as well.
