WASHINGTON - After a year of development, technology firms VistaScape Security Systems and Broadware Technologies announced this week their systems are now compatible to offer a turnkey video surveillance solution for advanced applications.
The companies have come together to marry VistaScape’s analytical video surveillance system with video streaming, storage and distribution capabilities from Broadware Technologies. The result is two systems that work together with less configuration requirements on the installation end than previously needed.
“We’ve simplified a lot of the work for the systems integrator and provided more capabilities to the end-user at the same time,†said Bill Stuntz, chief executive officer of Broadware, about the partnership.
VistaScape and Broadware announced the partnership during the Government Security Expo and Conference in Washington. Work on the project began more than a year ago when engineering experts from each company began making systems capable of talking to one another.
By working together, the companies are able to deliver a streaming video or video storage option for complex camera systems used at multiple site facilities or systems that require dozens of cameras.
David Gerulski, vice president of marketing for VistaScape, predicts the partnership will make it easier for integrators and end-users to implement its analytic video surveillance technology.
“I think you’re going to see a trend where you see a lot more partnerships of high-tech companies,†said Gerulski. “You will see fewer stove pipe-type of systems and more integrated systems around a group of companies.â€Â
