ASSA ABLOY acquires Finland’s 9Solutions

STOCKHOLM—ASSA ABLOY has announced the acquisition of 9Solutions, a Finnish provider of highly integrated AI-powered real-time locating healthcare solutions for critical communication and collaboration, with a focus on senior care.
This is the second acquisition for ASSA ABLOY in as many days after adding U.S. manufacturer Premier Steel Doors and Frames to its portfolio on Dec. 2.

9Solutions was founded in 2009 and has approximately 40 employees, with its main office located in Oulu, Finland. 9Solutions will be part of the Global Solutions business area Senior Care.
Sales for 9Solutions in 2023 amounted to about MEUR 10 (approx. MSEK 110). The acquisition will be accretive to EPS from the start.
