Axis Communications recognized for sustainability

CHELMSFORD, Mass.—The Business Intelligence Group awarded Axis Communications the Sustainability Leadership Award in the 2016 Sustainability Awards program.
“Our sustainability practices are important to us and I am honored that Axis Communications received this prestigious award,” Fredrik Nilsson, VP, Americas, Axis Communications, said in a prepared statement. “The BIG Sustainability Awards recognize innovative and outstanding companies, initiatives and products that are reshaping the business world and changing perspectives on sustainability. I'm glad that Axis is part of the change and that we're able to lead by example.”
The Sustainability Awards honor those people, teams and organizations who have made sustainability an integral part of their business practice or overall mission, the announcement said.
“I'd like to congratulate Axis Communications on this award win. The judges made it clear that Axis should be recognized for their outstanding sustainability efforts,” Russ Fordyce, managing director for the Business Intelligence Group, said in the announcement. “Their innovation and leadership should serve as a model for organizations around the globe.”
“Axis' objective is to take sustainability into consideration in all business processes throughout the entire value chain. Axis is taking long-term responsibility by thinking big in the areas of business conduct and social and environmental responsibility. Axis strives to minimize its environmental impact, promote a healthy working environment, fight corruption and prevent human rights breaches,” the company said in its announcement.
