PACHECO, Calif.—Bay Alarm, a provider of residential and commercial security systems based here, is moving its corporate headquarters to Concord, according to East Bay Times, which reported that the company is moving to a 60,000-square-foot building on Port Chicago Highway that once housed Heald Business College.
In addition to lower commercial lease rates and housing costs, the article said possible reason for he move includes Concord's proximity to San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
Founded in 1946 by Everett Westphal, Bay Alarm today services more than 130,000 customers. Matthew Westphal and Graham Westphal, third generation family members, serve as co-presidents of Bay Alarm.
