FAIRPORT, N.Y.--Bosch Security Systems has joined the growing list of companies coming into CP-01 compliance. Bosch announced last month that it has upgraded its G Series Control Panels to meet the American National Standards Institute's (ANSI) CP-01 false alarm reduction standards. The CP-01 standard covers event recognition, information handling sequences and provisions for system layout testing. CP-01 also strengthens user interface features to increase prevention and recovery from user-called false alarms, according to the Security Industry Association.
A provided release from Bosch Security Systems stated that the V7.05 firmware "underscores the company's ongoing commitment to providing products that reduce false alarm problems for its customers." This v7.05 firmware may be installed in any one of the three panels in Bosch's G Series, the D7212GV2, D7412GV2, or D9412GV2 panel, to bring it into compliance.
