Commend introduces Ivy Live Translation at ISC West 2025

MAHWAH, N.J. - Commend, a provider of intercom technology, has introduced its latest service, Ivy Live Translation.

Built on Al-powered speech processing algorithms, "Ivy Live Translation" users will enjoy effortless communication across language barriers, with optional sub-titles for added clarity and disabled support according to Commend.

Ivy Live Translation functions as a real-time translation service that helps callers overcome communication barriers in potentially up to 90 languages. It does so by translating each dialog input step-by-step to ensure a smooth flow of the conversation, enabling significant time savings and less complexity. For extra convenience, users of Commend's latest touch-display devices will also be shown subtitles of their conversation in real time.

"In today's interconnected world, language barriers can pose significant challenges in high-pressure situations when every single word and every second counts," says Tom Reilly, President Commend Americas. "We've designed Ivy Live Translation specifically to break down these obstacles, to empower individuals to communicate effectively in the language of their choice.”
